The Butler Public Library is one of just a handful of libraries in the state of Missouri that is not tax-supported. The library thrives off of donations from the community and the Robert A. and Virginia Heinlein Foundation. To help support the library, donations may be sent to the library at 100 W. Atkison, Butler, MO 64730. The library now accepts debit and credit cards, and donations may also be made over the phone. The library is a 501c3, so charitable contribution receipts may be requested.
Junior Library Guild
The library participates in the Junior Library Guild’s Love Our Library program. Donations may be made through the link below, and all funds through this site are used for quality children’s books.
The library is set up to receive donations through Amazon Smile when you make purchases through smile.amazon.com. Simply go to that site and choose the Butler Public Library in Butler, MO, then a portion of your purchase will be sent to the library.
